THE LAST GENERAL ELECTION COPE RECORDED 1.3 MILLION SUPPORT BASE. NEXT GENERAL ELECTION COPE MUST DOUBLE THAT NUMBER BY FIVE. VICTORY IS IN YOUR HANDS, DONT LET IT SLIP AWAY. I am one amongst the million people who are dissapointed by what COPE turned to be. It ws my first experience on politics since I never been a member of any before. Isaw hope and political home in COPE, but it turned out being something else. I think we have to cope with the happenings and hope that one of the two elephants will come to his senses and allow the hopeful South Africans to enjoy their hopes.

I had resigned myself not to writing about Cope anymore, hence my silence. But it is disturbing to see that there are people who have not realised that the party is doomed…it was from the begining.

There is nothing particularly wrong for being happy that you voted Cope in the elections, and lost. But to think that Cope is going to win the 2014 elections, or any elections for that matter, it’s a dream; and unfortunately will remain that.

To suggest that Cope will give the ANC good competition is equally a dream. You failed to beat the DA for the official opposition spot; and the indications given by your leader Shilowa to oppose even the unopposable, is very stupid. What did he hope for when he nominated Dandala as candidate for presidency in response ANC’s Zuma nomination. He (they)did not think and embarrassed the Priest in the process. So give us a break about ‘compettion’, may they will try to make it difficult to govern, but as always, thay will come second best.

They say rather deal with the devil you know (ANC) than inviting the new one (COPE). the very same people who are hip and hype about how corrupt ANC is, those are the very same people who grew and were groomed by the very same political party ANC. The people who are turning ANC into a Banana party is our Media, fellow oppositions but what they are not releasing is they are turning South Africa into a laughing stock not Zuma or ANC. What happened to our rainbow nation? what happened to our ideal leaders of our country? all you do is to stab each other at the back instead of coming together and work as a big team to lead the country in the right direction and respectfully!
